Hello,
A fluid change is the best first step. Other things to check are the linkages to make sure they are moving the contorl lever like they should. Also, depending on the age of your K46BA it could also be a stuck IDS valve. you would need to split the case to check that.
On the forward and reverse level there’s a double nut in front of the lever does it have anything to do with the forward and reverse because one diagram said it was a oil level check I tried opening it but saw it was moving shifting arm transmission still goes wrong direction

I am sorry but that is the fulcrum that sets the neutral position for the mower. If you have made adjusatments to that you will need to reset neutral. Please send an email to customerservice@tufftorq.com and I will be happly to send you the instructions.
