    I’ve got a 2006 simplicity legacy xl 4×4 27 horse gas. I’ve lost reverse, and it’s leaking fluid from the right top pivot point where the linkage bolts to the transaxle. Nobody has been able to help me. Please advise.

      Hello,
      To change the O-rings on the control shaft you woudl need to remove the lever and dampener. Once those are off you can remove the old O-rings and clean up the area, well. Then, add the O-rings and press them in one at a time. put the lever back on. make sure to check the oil level in the transaxle to make certain reverse is not lost due to low oil.
